Privacy built into the product scope
These platforms may handle information belonging to customers, delegates, members, guests, staff or property leads. The proposal should identify the product operator, eLan Technology’s delivery or support role, the minimum fields required and every external provider before implementation begins.
The client normally determines why operational records are collected and how long they are retained. eLan Technology processes project or support data only for the documented engagement and authorised instructions.
Fields, user roles, administrator access, exports, notifications and deletion workflows are agreed for the selected modules. Unneeded sensitive fields should not be collected.
Hosting, payment gateways, email, SMS, maps, storage, analytics and other integrations are disclosed in the approved architecture. Their contracts, locations and retention settings remain relevant.
Use generated or masked records for testing where practical. Production credentials, access removal, backups, migration, handover and end-of-service treatment should be recorded.
Scope note: A configurable product does not make the client automatically compliant with the DPDP Act or another law. Legal notices, consent or other lawful-use decisions, statutory retention and operational responses remain shared project responsibilities and should be reviewed for the actual deployment.
