Our Commitment
eLan Technology treats all client project details, business information, and technical specifications as strictly confidential. Protecting your sensitive information is a fundamental part of how we operate, and this commitment applies to every team member involved in your project.
What We Keep Confidential
The following categories of information are treated as confidential by default:
- Project briefs, requirements documents, wireframes, and technical specifications.
- Business strategies, operational processes, and internal data shared during discovery or onboarding.
- Source code, databases, design files, and other deliverables created for your project.
- Financial information, pricing discussions, and commercial arrangements.
- Any information explicitly marked as "Confidential" or "Proprietary" by the client.
Our Obligations
- We will not disclose your confidential information to any third party without your prior written consent.
- Access to your project information is restricted to the team members directly assigned to your project.
- Any sub-contractors or specialist freelancers engaged on your project are required to sign confidentiality agreements and are bound by the same obligations outlined here.
- We will not use your confidential information for any purpose other than delivering the services agreed in your project proposal.
Formal NDA
If your project involves highly sensitive information, proprietary technology, or trade secrets, we are happy to sign a formal Mutual Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) before any project discussions begin.
To request a formal NDA, please contact us at: [email protected]
Portfolio & Case Studies
- We may wish to feature your completed project in our portfolio or as a case study to demonstrate our capabilities. We will always seek your approval before publishing any project-specific content.
- If you prefer your project not to appear in our portfolio, please notify us in writing at any time before or after project delivery, and we will honour that request.
- We will never publish confidential business data, trade secrets, financial figures, or any other sensitive information in portfolio entries or case studies, regardless of consent.
Duration
Our confidentiality obligations remain in effect for a period of 3 years following the completion or termination of the project. After this period, general project information (such as the technology stack or industry sector) may be referenced, but specific confidential details remain protected indefinitely.
Exceptions
Confidential information may be disclosed in the following limited circumstances:
- When required by law, court order, or regulatory authority — in which case we will notify you as promptly as possible (where legally permissible) before making such disclosure.
- When the information has become publicly available through no fault of eLan Technology.
