Cancellation and Refund Policy

Overview
eLan Technology aims for complete client satisfaction on every project. This policy outlines the conditions under which cancellations are accepted and refunds may be issued for each of our service categories. We encourage clients to contact us to discuss any concerns before initiating a cancellation.
Web Design & Development Projects
- The 50% advance payment is non-refundable once design or development work has commenced, as it covers the time and resources allocated to your project.
- If eLan Technology fails to deliver the agreed project scope within the agreed timeline through no fault of the client, a pro-rata refund of the advance may be considered and issued at our discretion.
- No refund will be issued after final delivery and the client has provided written sign-off or approval.
- If a project is cancelled by the client before commencement (i.e., before any design or development work has begun), a full refund of the advance will be issued minus a 10% administrative processing charge.
Digital Marketing & SEO Services
- Monthly retainer fees are non-refundable once work for that month has commenced (including strategy, content creation, campaign setup, or reporting).
- Cancellation of a digital marketing retainer requires 30 days written notice prior to the next billing cycle.
- Advertising spend (Google Ads, Meta Ads, or other paid social media platforms) is passed directly to those platforms and is non-refundable under any circumstances.
Maintenance Plans
- Monthly plans: may be cancelled at any time with 30 days written notice. No partial-month refunds are issued.
- Annual plans: a pro-rata refund for unused complete months will be issued if the plan is cancelled after the first 3 months of service. No refund is available for cancellations within the first 3 months.
Products (Portals & Custom Software)
- The 50% advance payment for custom product or software development is non-refundable once development work has commenced.
- All custom software deliverables include a 90-day bug-fix warranty period. This warranty covers defects in the delivered software and does not constitute grounds for a refund.
Refund Process
Where a refund is approved under this policy, it will be processed within 7 to 14 business days via the original payment method used at the time of purchase. Refunds cannot be issued to a different account or payment method.
